STJERNERNE 9402

February 1994

Editorial:

The Telephone Company

in Denmark Reads Stjernerne

By Christian Borup

(p. 3) In the June issue of Stjernerne, Christian Borup commented on the Danish Telephone Company's recent change of policy regarding the listing of Astrology in the classified telephone directory for businessmen. Apparently, the Telephone Company is among the readers of Stjernerne, as they have sent a letter explaining their reasons for eliminating the column of Astrology -- admitting the astrologers to advertise along with other consultants.

Signs and Omens

- The Magic of the Moment

By Elisabeth Sjberg

(p. 27) Whatever is going on around you reflects your present situation. If you have a question, you may find the answer to it right before -- or around -- you. Elisabeth Sjberg illustrates this by numerous examples.

Are Some People Meant for Each Other?

Are Charles and Diana?

By Birthe Kirk

(p. 6) The composite chart reveals the theme for a couple, a family, a group of people, etc. -- as well as it shows the possibilities or restrictions that the relationship in question offers to the individual. Birthe Kirk explains the theory and techniques behind the composite chart -- quoting an amateur (and anonymous) astrologer for his interesting interpretation of the composite chart of Charles and Diana.

The Shadows of Democracy

By Adrian Ross Duncan

(p. 21) The past conjunctions of Saturn/Uranus, Saturn/Neptune, and Uranus/Neptune, respectively made possible the melting of different ideologies (East/West). Now, without these energies, tension between East and West will inevitably increase. In view of this, Adrian Duncan examines the chart of the election in Russia (12.12.1993). -- Another important election will be held in South Africa, where the blacks will vote for the first time. The chart on page 25 is set up for the date 27.04.1994 at 06:00 a.m. GMT, Pretoria -- assuming the polling stations open at 08:00 a.m. local time.

Nordic Mythology:

The Three Primordial Forces

By Helle Rosenkrans

(p. 54) The three primordial forces of Nordic mythology are brothers and sisters: A foaming wolf, a gigantic snake, and Hel, the goddess of death. The wolf (Uranus) is the wild, inner energy of everything, the earth as well as man. The snake (Neptune) winds round the earth and the entire universe -- making sure that every single detail is in the right place. And Hel governs her own kingdom of the dead, making her a feminine version of Pluto.

Nostradamus: The Stolen Silver

By Olivia Barclay

(p. 49) A thorough examination of a horary chart by Nostradamus concerning some silver stolen from the Cathedral of Orange. Besides revealing the identity of the thieves, Nostradamus also gave instructions on how to get the silver back. Nostradamus was not only clairvoyant -- this chart shows that he was also an excellent astrologer.

Comments on Newspaper Clippings

(p. 32) The Vluspa -- the predictions for 1994 made by the Volva from Island.

Miscellaneous

Sun signs and planetary tendencies in general.
